Hello my name is LuLu Lancaster aka LuLusApple 

I create art that is drawn on both history, my own and others and unfulfilled dreams. The irony of the choices we make along the way and the result of those choices that lead us into situations we find ourselves in as adults. Sometimes not pretty and sometimes a little cheesy mostly all overly exaggerated ;) but I hope that you can see a snippet of life in the art dolls I create.

Where we live...
We live in the Rural country of Northern California where grapes grow and wine flows. Where the pears are free for the picking and everyone shares their Pear Pies.
Where everyone knows everyone and if you spit you'll probably hit a relative. Where The news comes from my 89 year old uncle who is affectionately and quite unofficially known as the "mayor". Where the best entertainment comes from the Fireman's BBQ, Wine weekends and The Buffet at the Indian reservation Casino...where you will certainly see someone you know. Where neighbors wave as they drive by (sometimes in tractors) and shoot the breeze in front of the little store. Where you can let your kids ride bikes in the streets, where dogs run without leashes, where you can sit and watch your garden grow. Where the leaves fall like snow from the old oak trees and the acorns hit your house like small meteorites in the night.
