Mavis is approx. 10" height sitting and 16" total length. She is meant to be a sitter and has linked limbs and can be positioned into poses. She sits on a wooden doll stand to keep her stable and can be removed from it. She wears tattered fabrics with embroidered voile bodice. Stiffened silk gauze ruff around her neck. A fragment of vintage embroidered appliqué on her bodice and in her hair. She has wired antenna that have been needle felted. Mini sculpted mushrooms, natural moss and tiny vintage millinery stamen. Her slippers are needle felted with pointed toes. She holds a tiny sculpted winged worm witting on an amanita mushroom. The staff is covered in silk ribbons and sits on top of an antique wood spool with silk threads. ;)
